As every year, we participated in the Plant Protection Seminar in Opatija, held from February 4 to 7. We witnessed the exchange of new knowledge and the latest research findings from both domestic and international experts and scientists. We attended and watched around 50 presentations and papers on chemical and alternative plant protection methods, learned about legislative updates, and discussed current issues and potential solutions.
We also attended a panel discussion titled How to Encourage the Implementation of Integrated Plant Protection Principles in Agricultural Production and two round tables: Advisory Services in Plant Protection – What Do We Have, What Do We Need? and New Technologies in Plant Protection – Are We Keeping Up?
In addition to the professional part and lectures, an equally valuable aspect of our presence at the Seminar is networking with colleagues, exchanging opinions, establishing new connections, and exploring new business opportunities. This is why we look forward to it every year.
